How we work

Open data, shown working

  • Free, citable data only: Copernicus Sentinel-2 and DEM, ESA WorldCover, JRC Global Surface Water and OpenStreetMap.
  • Every weight and exclusion rule is printed in the report, so you can disagree with it.
  • Results name general areas, never individual plots or owners.
  • A desk study is a starting point. Land records, the local revenue office, an engineer and a site visit come next.
